What We Do

We have provided the Moose Jaw Hospital with the province's first Hyperbaric Chamber. The Fire Fighters hyperbaric unit is used to help treat such illnesses as carbon monoxide poisoning, frostbite, and decompression syndrome. Treatment in a hyperbaric chamber provides increased oxygen delivery to injured tissues. It also promotes advanced wound healing, improved infection control, and preservation of damaged tissues. For more information about the Fire Fighters Hyperbaric Unit, call (306) 694-0314.
