BURN SAFETY: A Reminder for Seniors
Video

BURN SAFETY: A Reminder for Seniors is a fun and fact filled drama that shows Burn Prevention are issues that have no age limits. This 20 minute video introduces a group of savvy seniors who take control of their own burn safety while adjusting to new lifestyles and living circumstances. Libby and Ed receive some impromptu burn safety lessons from their fire fighter son and grandkids when Ed forgets to both take the muffins out of the oven and change the smoke alarm battery. Later Libby puts the lessons to good use when a fire breaks out while she is visiting her sister May at Sunny Haven Seniors Complex.

BURN SAFETY: A Reminder for Seniors focuses on such safety issues as: Kitchen and Stove Safety; Smoke Alarm Batteries; Careless Smoking; Testing Hot Tap Water; How to Stop, Drop and Roll; and Family or Group Fire Escape Plans. Libby and her family and friends’ escapades provide an enjoyable way for seniors to learn about fire safety and burn awareness from a cast of characters they can really relate to.
