Running Room Welcome Home Run
|
The Running Room in Regina held a 3 or 6 km fun run/walk on July 8th to welcome back all clients and runners to their store. Smoke damage from a fire in a tanning bed at a tanning salon next door to the store back in January forced the running store to relocate to smaller quarters for the past six months. The event was dedicated to Regina’s Fire Fighter's who were instrumental in saving the Running Room from further damage.
Running Room Founder John Stanton flew in to Regina to lead the event. Saskatchewan Professional Firefighters Association Calendar Models were in attendance as special guests.
Participating runners raised $2126.10 through pledges for the SPFFA Burn Fund. The Burn Fund would like to thank the Running Room and the running community for their support. |
