The SPFFA Burn Fund continued its commitment to Burn Care and Treatment in the Province of Saskatchewan by funding over $82,300 in education and equipment purchases for the Province's two state-of-the-art Burn Units located at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon and the Regina General Hospital as well as the Hyperbaric Chamber located at the Moose Jaw Hospital.

The funds are also being used to train doctors and nurses in the area of burn treatment and care in an effort to provide the best treatment possible for burn survivors in our province. Equipment purchases is comprised of a specialized Ecclipse mattress to help make a burn patient's hospital stay as comfortable as possible.
